The PreCalculus CBL Projects MathBox is a copymaster set of four labs designed to help students make mathematical connections to real world physical situations. Students conduct experiments and transfer the data collected by the CBL apparatus to their own TI graphing calculators for interactive study and analysis. They learn to model the situation depicted by their data with an appropriate function and develop a better feel for what the independent and dependent variables represent.The labs require a CBL setup and include programs written for the TI-83 graphing calculator.
